Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE, [mɪn'əʉg]; (Melbourne, Australia, 28 May 1968) is an Australian pop and electronic dance music, plus actress, considered by many as the successor to Madonna, since the become a global superstar after the stunning success of her album Fever (2001) and its overwhelming hit Can not Get You Out Of My Head, which won two awards in the delivery of the Brit Awards 2002. The singer has sold worldwide over 65 million albums and in 2008 Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the Medal of the Order of British Empire for services to music, is also the first and only woman to win a MIT (Music Industry Trust), a prize given to artists who contribute to the music.
